Essay Topic 1

Describe at least two Native Americans nations PRIOR to European contact and explain how Native American culture changed over time. Describe how and why the Spanish, Dutch, French, and English treated Native peoples differently.

Essay Topic 2:

Explain the differences between Southern and Northern colonies. In your discussion explain how and why the following developed differently: slavery, politics, culture, economy. Discuss how political turmoil in 17th century Britain influence life in the colonies.
