Creating an Environment for Infants and Toddlers Final Project This is a multistep project that will be a culmination of all the information we have learned over the semester. This project will be worth 40 points. I want you to enjoy this project and have fun. Be creative and think out of the box.
You will be drawing a picture of your preschool environment. You may draw your school by hand or use the computer whichever you feel most comfortable with. If you draw by hand you will need to scan or photograph your drawing to submit it to me. Your drawing must include at least 5 different areas in your school. Each area must be labeled. This step is worth 5 points.
On a separate page begin your essay about your preschool. Your first 3 paragraphs in your essay will be describing your school’s philosophy. What is important to you? What kind of school do you want to have? This step is worth 2 points.
The next part of your essay will contain descriiptions of the five areas you created in your school. For each area, you must write at least 3 paragraphs. Your paragraphs should include a descriiption of the area and examples of how that area will support development in the developmental domains. Each area descriiption is worth 4 points.
Answer the following questions about your preschool.
How will your school demonstrate cultural inclusiveness?
How will your school support children with special needs?
How will your school support connections with parents?
Each question is worth 3 points.
