For your project, you are required to have at least 3 external sources for your research references. List THREE references here and describe how each will be utilized or relevant to your writing using the format for an annotated bibliography.

For each entry, your will first list the source as it would be shown on your reference page and then you will write a paragraph describing its correlation to your writing, how it will support your claim or perspective, and briefly describe the authority of the author(s). The aim of the exercise is to critically evaluate your resource by presenting it to me and the class.

The author in this article introduced a couple of cases related to the exercise of religion. He introduces the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) and examines the importance of this act by providing an understanding of how the act applies to the specific cases he discussed. There is also a wide explanation provided here of the origin of the RFRA, how it was developed when it became effective, and the purpose of the act. The cases he provided here help to better understand how the courts apply the law with their decision in relating to an individual’s religious belief.  This will be incorporated into the analysis by examining when the refusal of a guest becomes unlawful and when a refusal of service to same-sex marriage becomes a violation of the law.

**An opportunity for the example here would be to establish the credibility of the author/source. 

This should be complete by Friday so that I or a classmate will have time to comment or ask questions; however, there is not a peer response requirement for this discussion.

The grade for this assignment will be factored into the overall grade for your term project.

The completion of this assignment will be 10% of your overall grade for the term project.

Remember that an interview is in the instructions for the final term paper. This week will be a good week to schedule that interview if you have not done it already. The term project is due in Week 8.

Make sure that you use the APA Manual to format your citations.
